TK BAND - THE BEST BAND IN THE LAND

Now, the Berst Display Band Award 2006 goes to...



The school goes by the name...



TANJONG KATONG SECONDARY SCHOOL!!

The moment the results were announced I screamed my highest pitch that I've ever screamed eversince I entered TK. I screamed and screamed and Marc next to me was screaming and screaming and the whole of TK band was screaming and our TK Alumni trainers were jumping and hugging each other and screaming and then we all started crying at once.

Well, at least most of us were crying.

We were ecstatic.

We're THE BEST BAND IN THE LAND!

Thanks to our band instructors, Mr. Chia and Mr. Muzammil, and of course our alumni trainers and our teachers in charge... we couldn't have won without them. They stay up till late at night just to discuss our formations and steps... I love them to bits and pieces.


Before we entered the stadium to face over 56, 000 spectators, we were like super hyper man.
During our perfomance, the lines were super sraight and that made my adrenalin rush like hell. And then, after our performance while waiting for the other band to finish performing, the whole band was like "OMG K1 and K2 was SUPER STRAIGHT MAN"

Then the results were announced. Congrats to Deyi for winning the best Drum Major Award. I kind of feel sorry for Jit Rui. Jit Rui was good. but I guess Deyi's was better.
The whole stadium erupted into a mass of cheers and screams when the best band award was released.

Then when we could finally move around, we hugged each other soooo tight and cried together. It was an amazing experience. Amazing.

After everything, our TK Team gave some nice speeches, and said they have never seen a performance as 'perfect' as ours. We, my dearest friends, are the best batch.

After band, had dinner with the Fench Horns and Ben, Tracy and I were explaining to Ian the significance of Nai. Wahahahahaha had sich a GREAT time man. Took the bus home with Tracy. and I reached home at midnight.

yesterday was a perfect day.
I love everyone man.
